Inspired by the white blends of Alsace, this is 42% Pinot Gris, 33% Gewurztraminer and 25% Riesling from the organically farmed McFadden vineyard in Potter Valley. Grown on alluvial and gravel loam soils, these Alsatian varieties are less and less common up in Mendocino where they once were widespread. Dry and aromatic with peach, apricot and lemon lime. Fresh and zesty on the finish. Fermented separately with native yeasts in stainless steel and aged 6 months on the lees. No ameliorations, filtration or added sulfites. 12% ABV. Keep cool.
