100% Merlot from the organically farmed Hunter Hill Vineyard in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Just 3 miles from the Ocean, this is grown on weathered sandstone and shale loam soils. Notes of juicy blackberry, wild plum and cocoa. Fermented with native yeast in French cuves and aged 10 months on the lees in neutral barrels. No ameliorations, filtration or added sulfites. 12.6% ABV. Keep cool.
